Infusion and Wound Care

About Our Outpatient Treatment​

Infusion and Wound Care is located at PRMC Urgent Care, located at 1600 East First Street, Pratt, Kansas.  All services provided by Infusion and Wound Care require a physician order. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Our Infusion and Wound Care Services

PRMC Infusion and Wound Care administers biotherapy, immunotherapy, and other intravenous therapies in accordance with the IV Therapy Nursing Society Standards of Care.  Our Infusion Team consists of Registered Nurses and Advanced Practice Providers.

Wound Care

PRMC Infusion and Wound Care offer wound treatment for treatment of diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections, comprised skin grafts, flaps and wounds, and many other types of wounds.  Our wound team of nurses work with your medical provider to provide you  with a multidisciplinary  to wound management.

Treating wounds is a complex task.  Each case is unique, and patients heal at different rates.  PRMC Infusion and Wound Care staff are skilled at treating a variety of different wounds, including:

  • Burns
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Lower leg ulcers
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Bone infection (osteomyelitis)
  • Gangrene
  • Skin tears or lacerations
  • Late effects of radiation therapy
  • Post-operative infections
  • Slow or non-healing surgical wounds
  • Compromised skin flaps or grafts
  • Any wound failing to improve with multiple treatments or therapies

What to Expect on Your First Visit

  • You or your physician will call for an appointment
  • Bring all medications you are currently taking, including over the counter and a list of allergies with you on your first visit.
  • Bring insurance information for verification.
  • Our team of physicians and nurses will evaluate your wound, health and medical history.
